CBSbutler have shown themselves to be a true 'business partner'

"My relationship with CBSbutler began 4 years ago when they first approached us. At that time our organisation, a US-based passenger and cargo airline, were having difficulty recruiting permanent European maintenance staff. Being located in two different continents, each of which having subtle cultural differences, meant that internal issues were sometimes difficult to
communicate and resolve quickly.

CBSbutler have spent time looking at ways in which they could support our business best and help manage logistical issues which were directly impacting on our business. Through a dedicated approach, including visits to our HQ in Atlanta, they were able to suggest a short-term solution to our problem. By employing contractors through CBSbutler on 6-month contracts we were able to mobilise engineers quickly. In addition they continue to support us by dealing with travel and accommodation bookings for contractors which eases our admin burden.

As well as resolving the issue in the short-term, they are also working with us to come up with a long-term solution. Their knowledge of the European contract market coupled with experience of potential recruitment issues allows us to be in a strong position to put our case forward. This long-term solution will resolve our permanent recruitment issue which will effectively make CBSbutler's surplus to requirement and yet they are pursuing this with us as it represents our best interest.

By demonstrating this kind of this kind of integrity and also operating in an open and honest way, CBSbutler have shown themselves to be a true 'business partner'

CBSbutler support a major aviation company with 25 x FAA A&Ps supporting their worldwide operations, 3 x Material Representatives (Germany, Abu Dhabi and Dubai) and a senior Technical Representative who performs C-Check supervision in EVA, Finnair and SR Technics. Our engineers provide, base, line and fly-along services in locations as diverse as Kabul, Bishkek, Nairobi, Lagos, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sao Paulo and many European locations.

We’ve also performed ad-hoc AOG and A-Check maintenance.

Since 2008 under our Exclusive Supplier Status contracts, we have actively transferred 10+ engineers to permanent headcount, on many occasions free of charge. This has allowed CBSbutler to ensure a long-term staffing solution while at the same time providing a flexible contractor team which can increase/decrease as business dictates.

In 2011, in response to an increase in activity CBSbutler started a dedicated GroundCare team (8 x FAA Engineers) specifically to provide fixed-duty/fixed location personnel – allowing fly-along support to not impact on main base operations.
