“MBDA appointed CBSbutler to be their managing agent for recruitment in July 2005 after an extensive review and supplier evaluation.

We chose CBSbutler due to their innovative and flexible service model, which addressed the shortfalls that we had experienced with the previous provider.  In addition their pricing scheme and open book policy was very attractive to us because it enabled us to realise substantial savings and to control costs effectively.

Our HR department worked closely with the CBSbutler management team to review our recruitment practices, following our own six sigma evaluation. They provided us with many valuable suggestions to improve our internal procedures and have always been readily available to resolve problems and offer advice

Simon Bartington has built good working relationships with the HR team and are progressing well with the various departmental managers.  Already we are seeing step improvements in the quality and quantity of candidates.

The new VMS system introduced by CBSbutler has been well received: it’s user friendly, provides us with instant information on the vacancies and enables us to identify problematic areas quickly.

They continue to add value to our operation by offering new solutions to our internal challenges.  Examples include supplier audits to mitigate risk, graduate/young person recruitment and in the processing of contract vacancies on behalf of our procurement function.

CBSbutler have made a fine start with ourselves and we look forward to continuing the progress with the aim of achieving a best in class recruitment process.”

Nicola Smith, HR Adviser, MBDA Missile Systems.
