Our client is a leading company within a global group of businesses who provide complete power plant solutions. As part of a planned strategic growth programme, they are expanding their business with the development of a Power Plant Integration Systems group. This exciting development has been implemented two years ahead of schedule meaning that they are now actively recruiting for market leading engineering professionals to join their team to drive the business forward and build the engineering team around them. One of these exciting newly formed positions is for a highly experience Commercial Manager
Responsibilities of the Commercial Manager will include:
* Developing procurement plans and contracting strategies
* Working with the legal team to formulate templates for head, subcontract, consortium agreements
* Ensuring the application of project remuneration systems involving our Client and supply chain
* Developing and leading negotiations with our Clients and the supply chain covering all aspects of contract execution
* The selected candidate will be flexible to UK and worldwide travel, when required
The Commercial Manager will require the following qualifications/experience:
*Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
*Extensive experience working in an EPC or consortium management power projects environment.
*Expertise in the commercial management of projects on Power Plant Systems and equipment of a Project size of between £500m to £1 Billion, understanding and knowledge of large, complex, capital projects is a must!
*Applications may be considered for candidates with strong Commercial Management experience within Oil & Gas, Process or Nuclear Sectors
