Subcontracts / Commercial Manager. To maximise value from consortium sub-contractors, and ensure positive financial results for the Earth Observation data quality programme as a whole. To support the Programme Manager in all commercial matters, and in general management of the project.
Responsibilities as a Subcontracts / Commercial Manager:
+ Management of existing sub-contracts and flow-down of contract changes to sub-contractors, with oversight of associated commercial negotiations; Responsibility for sub-contractor budget.
+ Support to Programme Manager in negotiations with customer, Customer-facing role; Visits to customer and sub-contractors sites as required (frequent travel).
+ General support to Programme Manager for efficient and effective execution of the project, including resource management and some technical supervision.
Skills and Experience as a Subcontracts Manager / Commercial Manager:
+ Degree educated or equivalent ideally with a science background.
+ Experience in Space domain essential.
+ Experience in Earth Observation domain a strong advantage
