Defence Training Analyst - £350 - £400 per day - South West

The contract Training Analyst role requires someone with a deep understanding of the DSAT Training lifecycle, you will be responsible for providing the complete range of training services from initial concepts through Training Needs Analysis, to finally delivered training material including:

Production of Proposals and Reports associated with TNA activities.
Generation of course support documentation e.g FTS, CSPEC, ISPEC, ASPEC etc.
Development and Production of appropriate learning materials including Instructor led and/or Computer Aided/Based training, Instructor notes, Student Handouts, Assessment guides etc.
Delivery of training courses including Train the Trainer variants.

Responsibilities

Preparation of Impact Assessment and Bid Support documentation.
Preparation and production of JSP 822 based Training Needs Analysis documentation including TNA Final Reports.
Defining training solutions including training strategies, training equipment proposals, course outlines and storyboards.
Produce instructional scalars, Enabling Objectives, Key Learning Points and identifying underpinning knowledge
Develop and Produce FTS, CSPEC, ASPEC and ISPEC documents
Specify, develop and produce lessons and content including CAL, CBT, and Scenario based classroom exercises.
Deliver training interventions for all Job roles as required in accordance with approved documentation and DSAT principles.
Conduct Assessments in accordance with ASTRAT and ASPEC's.

Education/Experience

ESSENTIAL

SC Clearance
Hands on experience in a relevant technical discipline.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Technical authoring skills
Significant Trainer/ Training Developer experience preferably in a Military environment
Fully conversant with DSAT principles and associated documentation
Competent at practitioner level with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, + Power Point
Willingness and availability for UK and International travel/secondment

DESIRABLE

Team player, but also able to work on their own initiative
Capable of liaising with customers and suppliers at all levels
Ability to meet deadlines and cope with pressure.
Positive and flexible attitude with an ability and willingness to learn
Experience in writing Technical Publications, e.g. AESPs
