DV Cleared - CA Service Desk Specialist
Job Description including Day to Day Responsibilities:
Working within the SM Tools team on a major new enterprise infrastructure development and deployment within DII, this Senior Designer will be required to:
* Design, document and configure/build the CA Service Desk solution using R12 technology in a virtualised Windows 2008 environment against a SQL 2008 database;
* Derive solution requirements from a set of defined and existing service desk processes
* Integrate Knowledge tools and potentially the reporting tools of Business Intelligence and CDBMs;
* Design the integration and installation required for Unicenter Remote Control R11 c2;
* Integrate hardware asset loading tools to allow hardware assets to be managed as CIs within CASD interface;
* Generate reports on very small KPI set, on a scheduled and dynamic basis and stored for re-use;
* Implement e-mail interface to CASD and integrate into e-mail forms framework.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Essential:
Expertise in designing and implementing CA Service Desk solutions within major enterprise infrastructures;
Experience of designing and developing Service/System Management solutions for major Defence Infrastructures programmes;
Knowledge of some of the following technologies:
Backup and replication (Veritas, NetBackup...);
Service Monitoring and reporting Tools;
Patch and Remote Deployment Tools;
Disaster Recovery Facilities;
Tivoli/NetCool, Radia.
Desirable:
DII experience.
