Automoitve and Motorsport Consultancy a world leader in Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology are looking for Electrical Machine Drives Engineers
Experience in designing and developing high performance brushless rotating electrical machines, typically including permanent magnet, reluctance and induction machine types. Experienced and familiar with using electromagnetic FEA tools (static and transient with motion solvers) together with other machine design tools such as SPEED, MotorCAD and mechanical CAD. Understanding and experience of analysing / modelling loss mechanisms within rotating electrical machines. Transforming the loss mechanisms into thermal models to understand the thermal behaviour of a design under transient and steady state operational conditions.
