Electronics Systems Engineer

Our client is a FTSE 250 world leading Defence Company involved in the manufacturing of products used for Explosive Ordnance Disposal. Due to company growth they are looking to recruit an Electronic Systems Engineer to join their Engineering team.

The Role: Electronic Systems Engineer
As Electronic Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:

+ Co-ordinating and providing design solutions as required by the NPI Programmes
+ Organise resources and allocate work activities to meet the demands of the project
+ Formulate plans and preparation of requirements for technical programmes including feasibility studies, development projects and value Engineering
+ Control the Design Status of projects through appropriate documentation and configuration control procedures
+ Ensure that all existing and new products are fit for purpose
+ Provide technical support to operations, QA and Sales and Marketing teams
+ Represent the company and interface with external parties (clients and suppliers)

Experience:
As Electronic Systems Engineer you will have experience of:

+ Degree qualified or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or other relevant Electronic biased discipline
+ Strong background in Electronic Systems design
+ Previous experience of leading engineering projects to deliver mechanical design solutions
+ Experience of the Automotive, Aerospace or Defence industry would be advantageous
+ Sound understanding of Mechanical Engineering (Stress, Performance, Verification, Safety, ILS)
+ General understanding of Life Cycle Management and New Product Introduction Techniques
