Field Service Engineer - Control and Safety Systems - Role and Responsibilities
+ Attend customer sites (UK and World-wide) to service, upgrade and commission the organisations products
+ Provide specialist system support for a range of equipment's including both legacy and current products.
+ Prepare all necessary documentation required prior to and post site visits, including Implementation Plans, Site Visit Reports, Method Statements and Risk Assessments
+ Provide follow up support services in the resolution of outstanding actions and issues, ensuring resolutions and closeout
+ Provide engineering input into new/existing projects using application and/or site knowledge to help progress project deliveries
+ Plan, schedule, coordinate with external parties' project or support deliverable, including management of own and others time
Field Service Engineer - Control and Safety Systems - Skills and Experience
+ On-shore and off-shore site experience of control and safety systems for the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or pharmaceutical industries
+ Experience of control system applications throughout the project lifecycle
+ Software design and support experience of PLC/HMI or DCS Systems
+ Hardware design and support experience relating to control system equipment PC's, PLC's and other manufacturers equipment
+ Understanding of Control and Instrumentation installation specifications
+ Able to supervise and manage site teams and able to communicate with clients and end users
+ Completion of the off-shore survival course
+ Requirement to provide out of hours support to clients both UK and worldwide
+ Holder of UK driving license
