FPGA Engineer - Communications. A well established but low profile specialist electronics company who develop secure communication systems have secured a major order for their encrypted technology. To deliver this project, an FPGA Engineer is required for at least 6 months.
Main Duties of this Position
+ Architectural design, development, test and integration of digital cryptographic communication systems implemented in FPGAs using VHDL
+ Requirements capture, analysis and management for system, sub system and modular, low-level items
+ System architectural design
+ System level test validation and verification specification
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
+ BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng degree in electronics
+ Substantial experience in high speed digital design and FPGA development
+ Expert in VHDL design and verification via self-checking testbenches, BFMs, etc.
+ Expert in the use of FPGA development tools such as Modelsim, Synplify, Xilinx ISE
