Indirect Procurement Manager. An opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to develop this new position working for a leading Systems house across a variety of sectors.
Responsibilities as an Indirect Procurement Manager:
+ Responsible for implementing a robust and practical Indirect Procurement function and influencing group initiatives to support the business criteria.
+ Create global strategies to deliver year on year targeted sourcing initiatives.
+ Provide strong leadership, commercial management and lead roll out of key contracts for agreed global sourcing categories.
+ Create global strategies to accelerate and deliver sourcing benefits resulting from any Merger or Acquisition and driven from any asset disposal or divestment.
+ Minimize commercial and legal risk across all areas within remit.
+ Lead the integration of new acquisitions into existing commercial arrangements to provide seamless transition into Group operating model and contracts.
+ Contribute to the development of procurement Macro groups set up to improve strategies, activities globally.
+ To be an in-house resource to provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders on procurement and supply chain issues and provide practical solutions where necessary.
Experience as an Indirect Procurement Manager
+ Educated to degree level or equivalent.
+ Proven track record in people management, strategy development, project delivery and stakeholder management
+ Significant sourcing/commercial experience.
+ Experience of negotiating agreements with customers and suppliers.
+ Experience in working within a systems integration or similar organisation.
+ Current Driving License.
+ Effective analysis, document drafting and report writing skills.
Excellent supplier and partner management skills
+ Good Commercial negotiation experience, including contract terms, prices and payment schedules.
