IT Manager - ERP
The IT manager will be responsible for all IT systems including servers, network and software. Needs are focused around four areas: 1) Enable an efficient business system solution working for multiple sites; 2) Provide effective internal and external network and communication; 3) Ensure security of information and transactions; 4) Provide tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
IT Strategy
*Develop IT strategy, aligned with group strategy, to effectively support the achievement of business goals
*Implement strategy and align with functional managers
*Identify and propose IT investments with attractive returns (ROI)
*Review, improve and implement company IT policy in agreement with group and management
Business Systems (Network, ERP, inter/intranet)
*Manage internal networks and IT infrastructure
oEnsure close to 100% uptime of network
oSupply speed of network adequate of user requirements
*Assess and implement business system solution with management team
*Realign business system with changing business process requirements
*Support business with appropriate reports accessible to users
*Structure and support business information data warehouses and ensure integrity of data
Effective Electronic Communication
*Manage internal phone system and ensure most cost effective solution
*Ensure e-mail system and other communication (ftp, http) is effective
*Maintain www infrastructure and enable effective contents management, intranet and internet
*Manage mobile devices and remote connectivity to network
Risk and Security Management
*Ensure back-ups are regularly created and secured of user data
*Secure emergency recovery service
*Ensure adequate anti-virus protection
*Provide adequate security against illegal entry access to network
Software/Hardware Tools
*Identify, evaluate and implement business tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness (e.g. CRM, Workflow, virtual collaboration)
*Manage RTS Support and IT Helpdesk
*Ensure hardware/software comply with company policy
*Maintain inventory of in-house hardware and software
*Provide ad hoc support for computer crashes etc
Process
*Take process ownership of processes spanning function
*Identify main areas of poor processes/quality work to improve
*Ensure compliance to new processes through control charts and audits
*Implement and drive KPIs and SLAs
People and Communication
*Develop communication plan to ensure all members of team understand goals of organisation and status of challenges and successes
*Support team members and peers in their development and success by proactively offering constructive feedback and help
*Set goals and hold team and agents accountable for delivering results
*Put metrics in place and display publicly

*Business improvement from IT implementation

*IT system & network uptime (all IT services, e.g. servers, phone, clients)

*All functional manager regarding system needs
Qualification:
University degree, preferably in IT or computer science
ITIL accreditation (desirable)
Microsoft accreditation (desirable)
Skills/Experience:
5 years' experience as IT manager including network management
3 years' experience managing ERP system and databases (SQL or Oracle)
Proven successful implementation of ERP system in past
Successful implementation of business software tools with proven increased efficiency as a result
Excellent SW/HW computer skills (MS Server, MS Exchange, SQL)
