Litigation Support Analyst/ Ediscovery required by our leading London law firm to join their expanding Litigation support division.
as an ediscovery specialist or litigation support analyst you will have extensive experience in this field with either a law firm, specialist vendor or consultancy.
The team is responsible for the provision of data management services to fee earners within the disputes division. This includes advising on and assisting with the harvesting, collation, processing, reviewing, presentation and disclosure of electronic data through the dispute process.

Key responsibilities include:

*System implementation and support: implement the necessary disputes document review solutions and related processes. Assist and enable lawyers to work effectively with document review software, and with other relevant IT systems for handling case-related information (e.g. hearing transcription systems such as LiveNote).
* Contact and financial delivery disciplines: work with the department leader to assist in the generation of accurate budgets for costs and timescales of disputes support work, and subsequently ensure that such work is completed within budget and to agreed standards and deadlines.
* Protocols: advise on eDisclosure processes and protocols, including communicating directly with disputes support representatives for opposing firms.
* Training: help users understand and resolve relevant issues (e.g. problems with use of document review software) and be involved in the delivery of disputes specific training.
* Risk management: understand the need for compliance with the firm's policies, procedures and rules. Identify and evaluate risks, consulting and taking appropriate action. Hold the firm's reputation as paramount at all times.
* Financial management: consistently demonstrate good time management, time recording and financial discipline.

Experience:-
* Sound understanding of the legal framework of eDisclosure, existing protocols, practices and relevant legal standards.
* Proficiency in several disputes support applications and a sound knowledge of eDisclosure software market.
* Fluency in spoken and written English.

My client is looking for someone who can start in the next few weeks and hit the ground running although initially a 3 month contract there is a strong chance this will lead to a permanent position.
