LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATOR / SHIPPING ADMINISTRATOR - £16K - £19.5K + PACKAGE- CONTRACT TO PERM - WEST SUSSEX
Due to continuous growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced logistics clerk/administrator to join a multi national medical company and undertake a pivotal role working within our state of the art medical equipment service facility based in Crawley.
ROLE - LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATOR / SHIPPING ADMINISTRATOR
Reporting to the Technical Manager
+ Scanning documents into computer and updating equipment history
+ Issuing of loan equipment to customers
+ Calling in of loan equipment from customers
+ Arranging Collection of contract customer units for calibration
+ Issuing Return Goods Authorisation numbers to internal and external customers
+ Working with engineers ordering and managing dept Inventory of spare parts and stationary
+ Ensuring all service reports and equipment history and quality control records are maintained and updated on the central database.
+ Dealing with customer enquiries and providing equipment repair progress updates (BOTH)
+ Provide periodic staff holiday cover handling goods inwards & shipping for the Technical department shipping administrator.
REQUIREMENTS - LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATOR / SHIPPING ADMINISTRATOR
+ Well organised, reliable, accurate with a high attention to detail
+ Capable of working to deadlines and prioritising work
+ Computer literate, good keyboard skills, with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
+ Good telephone manner, and able to liaise effectively with customers at all levels,
+ Must be a team player with a can do attitude and determination to succeed.
+ Experience working within an ISO 9000:2008 quality management systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
+ Physically fit capable of lifting boxes and equipment
