Planner - Cork/Limerick

This leading Medical Devices Organisation now has 2 permanent opportunities for Planners within the Planning and Procurement department. The successful candidate will be responsible for satisfying customer demand by producing, monitoring and driving achievable production schedules based on demand, available capacity and resources.

Planner - Role/Responsibilities
+ Scheduling, management and monitoring of production to meet Customer requirements ensuring a min of 98% Customer service level
+ Proactively identify report and escalate constraints within the end-to-end Supply chain which will impact on Customer Service levels
+ Maintain production demand profile for the BU, taking into account past and anticipated future sales
+ Ensure put to stock productions are achieved
+ Inventory management
+ Measure and report material shortages
+ Maintain accurate item master data e.g. lead times, batch size, safety stock target etc
+ Planning model maintenance
+ Expedite or de-expedite product as required
+ Represent the "voice of the customer" within the BU

Planner - Skills/Experience
+ 3rd Level qualification or equivalent in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management/Logistics, IPICS or other equivalent is required
+ Preferably 3-5 years experience in an MRP environment and have appropriate and related PC System skills
+ Experience of working in a highly regulated environment
+ Customer focused
+ Initiate, sponsor and implement change
+ Solve problems by gathering data and using logic to arrive at decisions or solutions that achieve the desired outcome
+ Ability to project manage, work under pressure and meet agreed and often tight deadlines
+ Conversant with company policies/procedures/regulatory and FDA Standards
