Our client is a leading company within a global group of businesses who provide complete power plant solutions. As part of a planned strategic growth programme, they are expanding their business with the development of a Power Plant Integration Systems group. This exciting development has been implemented two years ahead of schedule meaning that they are now actively recruiting for market leading engineering professionals to join their team to drive the business forward and build the engineering team around them. One of these exciting newly formed positions is for a Plant Layout Engineer

Responsibilities of the Plant Layout Engineer
will include:

*Development of Power Plant arrangements including steam turbine hall, boiler house and power block arrangements.
*Developing and optimising combiner turbine hall and boiler arrangements
* Integrating feedwater and condensate cycles.
*Delivery and installation to budget and to programme

The Plant Layout Engineer will require the following qualifications/experience:

*Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
*Detailed knowledge of power plant arrangements including steam turbine hall, boiler house and power block arrangements.
*Direct experience with PDMS or SmartPlant
*Expertise in the Integration of Power Plant Systems and equipment of a Project size of between £500m to £1 Billion, understanding and knowledge of large, complex, capital projects is a must!
*Applications may be considered for candidates with Lead engineering experience within Oil & Gas, Process or Nuclear Sectors
