Project Engineer - Utilities & Facilities/Equipment & Processes

This leading Pharmaceutical organisation now has 2 opportunities for Project Engineers who would be responsible for the effective delivery, implementation and handover of all allocated multi discipline engineering projects.

Project Engineer - Utilities & Facilities/Equipment & Processes - Role/Responsibilities
+ Organise and manage both internal staff and external contractors, to provide an effective and efficient project engineering service
+ Ensure effective delegation of project related tasks
+ Liaise as required with Customer Departments to determine current and future requirements
+ Assist the users in the development and Implementation of the User Requirements specification
+ In conjunction with the Design and Project Engineering Manager, vet, select and brief discipline consultants to deliver required design packages
+ Prepare Design, procurement and installation plans on all projects
+ Carry out negotiations with suppliers/contractors to secure best value/delivery options
+ Manage, monitor and control expenditure of allocated projects and provide progress reports on a regular basis
+ Prepare, evaluate and manage budgets of assigned projects
+ Fully understand and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation, statutory legislation CDM regulations and COSHH
+ Ensure compliance with both company and regulatory requirements

Project Engineer - Utilities & Facilities/Equipment & Processes - Skills/Experience
+ Degree/HND or Member of a professional institute in Mechanical/Building Services/Electrical discipline
+ Excellent organisational and planning ability
+ Good Problem solver
+ Demonstrable experience in managing Engineering projects
