Role Purpose:
+ Ensure correct manufacturing documentation is being applied in accordance with QMS and contract requirements.
+ Carry out inspections of WIP and documentation to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications.
+ To perform supplier assessments and surveillance according to QMS and contract requirements.
+ To carry out inspections of incoming materials.
+ Assist with control and management of the bonded material system.
Key performance indicators:
+ Departmental Dashboard.
+ Level of recorded non-conformances to the QMS.
Duties and responsibilities:
+ Support the QA Manager and QA Engineer to ensure compliance to QMS and contract.
+ Communicate effectively current status and opportunities for process improvement.
+ Prepared to work outside normal hours to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experiences & Skills required
+ Understanding of ISO9001 and QMS
+ Significant experience within a QC environment.
+ Understanding of specifications, engineering drawings and principles.
+ Good Written and interpersonal Skills.
+ Computer literate in MS office applications.
+ Full clean driving licence.
