Senior Support Engineer

Senior Support Engineer based in Essex, the role will be responsible for attending customer's sites (UK & World Wide) as directed by the Head of Support or Contract Manager, to service, upgrade, and commission client control and safety systems, as well as providing emergency response support, ensuring continued serviceability and uptime of client systems.

The Senior Support Engineer will be expected to provide specialist system support for a range of equipments including both legacy and current client products including:
Regent TMR Systems
Trusted TMR Systems
AADvance Systems
Allen Bradley/ Control Logix

Requirements of the Senior Support Engineer are;

Degree, HND, HNC (or equivalent qualifications / experience)
Knowledge of current and legacy control and safety systems. On-shore and off-shore site experience of control & safety systems for the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or pharmaceutical industries.
Experience of control system applications throughout the project lifecycle from initial design concepts through to installation, commissioning and subsequent client support. Able to diagnose and rectify System faults to a Hardware/ Software module level. Software design and support experience of PLC/HMI or DCS based control systems. Application experience of third party systems integration would be an advantage,

Knowledge of communications protocols particularly of GE Fanuc, Cimplicity and InTools would be an advantage.
Hardware design and support experience relating to control system equipment PC's, PLC's (panels, control desks and control rooms) and integration of other manufacturers equipment.
