Sevice Architect:
Currently looking for a Security Focussed Service Architect to join a leading firm in either London or Guildford. These Service Architects must be Security focussed (Cyber Security) and be eligible for Security Clearance.
The Service Architect performs a key role in pursuing and winning large multi-year outsourcing deals by defining the overall solution and service strategy to address immediate and long-term needs of clients for whom security is a major concern.
Skills and Experience
*Over 5 years experience delivering throughout the service lifecycle, from design, transition, operate and through to service transformation.
*Outsourcing experience with large systems integrators / consulting companies in the domain of Applications Development, Infrastructure Services, Security Services and Business Process Outsourcing
*Demonstrated track record of shaping and architecting managed services and solutions for deals £1m+
*Experience leading service integrator and services deals. Demonstrating experience of integrating multi-vendor and subcontractors within an end-to-end service.
*Expertise in one or more market domains where Detica operates: Civil Government, Law Enforcement, National Security, Global Financial Markets, Retail Financial Services, Utilities, Telecommunications, Technology and Media
*Track record of engaging senior management within client organisations and ability to present and shape services
*Understanding of, and implanting best practice methodologies, such as ITIL, TOGAF, MODAF
*Understanding of the implementation of managed security services into complex, multi-vendor IT outsource environments
*Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal and leadership skills
*Broad business and technology skills coupled with people management and client interface skills
*Ability to design and implement new services to enhance existing service portfolio
*Experience developing solution strategy, governance models, SLA framework
*Ability to create business and technology transformation roadmaps
*Strong client presence and professional image. Ability to present value-based proposals to clients
*Experience in pursuing and managing deal consultant/advisory led engagements
*Demonstrate deep understanding of competitor service offerings within their market domain
*Must be willing to travel as business needs dictate (less than 50% travel will be required)
What you will be doing:
*Design and manage the service design and architecture of complex deals
*Design the integration of services across Applications, Security, Infrastructure, and Business Processes, including multiple phases of delivery implementation, where the services may be delivered by Detica or by appropriate subcontractor organisations
*Build the service solution from pre-defined service components to maximise re-use in delivery, where appropriate, or design new services if needed
*Responsible for architecting the service transition approach (if applicable) to suit the business requirements
*Responsible for designing the service set-up, implementation and operating approach (eg tools, processes)
*Responsible for driving the service transformation components, to support the business and technology transformation strategy for the client.
*Architect the service solution within set cost parameters of the commercial deal. Responsible for identifying service options and balance cost v clients benefits decisions
*Lead solution teams, including architects and consultants from other technical disciplines, in order to accelerate wins for complex pursuits
*Responsible for identifying and collating client service requirements and match against Detica services and capabilities. Furthermore feed future requirements Detica service owners to develop future roadmap and investment requirements
*Proactively bring thought leadership and business outlook to effectively address client issues
*Use persuasiveness and influencing skills with internal teams to achieve pursuit objectives
*Responsible supporting and implementing best practice and up-skilling resources with service/solution teams
