Supplier Quality Manager - Cork
+ SQM will partner with the QA Director to develop and implement a Supplier Quality Management strategy
+SQM will partner with Supplier Quality Manager in the North American and Continental Europe Campuses
+Partners with Global supply chain in their Strategy
+Leads, manages, engages and develops a team of Supplier Quality Professionals.
+Promotes the Quality System within the Supply Base
+ Designs and implements supplier quality assurance methods and metrics and drives Supplier Quality performance through the evaluation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
+Monitors supplier performance data to identify trends and analysis for review and possible action
+Ensures continuous improvement effectiveness of the supplier quality management system
+ Assists Vendor Engineering Teams in the development of new supply sources
Skills and Education
+Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or related subject.
+Minimum of 8 years relevant supplier quality experience in GMP manufacturing environment
+Managers with 10 years plus in Aerospace or Tier 1 automotive manufacturing would also be considered
+Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is desirable.
+Good Working Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices, ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CQMOE) is an advantage.
+Demonstrated capability & experience of effectively managing, engaging and developing a team of direct reports is essential
+Managing across multiple site locations is a distinct advantage
+Demonstrated experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management roles preferred.
+ Track record in developing and delivering an efficient and integrated approach to supplier quality management is required.
+Has participated and developed leading edge methods of supplier development and management
+ Has hands on experience in the development and execution of supplier certification programmes
