System Engineering Consultant
Our defence consultancy client is seeking to recruit a consultant with drive and commitment to work with clients as part of their team to apply sound systems engineering thinking and knowledge of the acquisition process to support the delivery of clients' capability mainly in the Defence industry.
You will be required to:
* Develop elements of the engineering process documentation and perform various associated tasks as required in support of project development
* Understand the processes used to develop and manage project requirements.
* Support 'Experiment and Test Design' with the process of identifying and assessing relevant models, tools and facilities that will be required to ensure delivery of a representative and credible solution option.
* Work with the clients' project managers to ensure requirements are collectively understood.
* Assist in the analysis of competitive tenders.
* Support clients' project managers in preparation of business cases
* Possess excellent reasoning, problem solving and communication skills and strong consultancy and interpersonal skills.
You will ideally be educated to degree level and will have experience of working as a Systems Engineer in the defence industry. Candidates who lack the specific experience but have a genuine enthusiasm to work with clients to deliver improvements to the way their projects are managed and delivered will be considered.
