Test and Validation Engineer required to work within the Process Safety Technology group which specialises in the development of complex safety and control system products. The Test Department in our Essex client has a vacancy for a Test and Validation engineer to work alongside the existing team. This role of the Test and Validation engineer requires involvement in all aspects of the product validation process.
The Test and Validation Engineer will be required to:
Write and execute test scripts from Functional Requirements Specifications
Provide and maintain accurate estimates and project schedules
Work closely with the Process Safety Design team to ensure that functional test plans, specifications and test cases are correctly derived
Ensure that department practices and output meet the requirements of the business, including adherence to ISO9001 and TUV-certified IEC61508
Knowledge of the Test and Validation Engineer:
Extensive test engineering background
Experience of Labview or other automatic test tools
Sound technical knowledge and experience in the validation of Trusted and AADvance products or similar Programmable Logic Controllers
