URGENT REQUIREMENT - System Integration Test Lead

Systems Integration Test Lead - LONDON - £400p/day
Duration: 3 months (initially)

Our client is a very well known media organisation.
The relevant department is responsible for the technical design, capacity and External Service Providers that maintain the infrastructure behind the organisation's website (one of the most popular sites in the world!). There are a number of projects underway, all under the banner of Tech Refresh initiative that will define and build the infrastructure for the next generation of websites.

Responsibilities
Integration Test Lead is responsible for the delivery of an integrated product suite to the Acceptance test phase.

All candidates MUST have programmed in JAVA, HTML, PHP, working in a Matrix management environment.
Excellent people skills are vital.

Responsibilities:
*Manage a small Systems Test Integration team
*Hands-on test skills (planning, execution, reporting)
*Be point of contact for all deliveries into and out of the Integration phase/environment
*Establish mechanisms for E2E integration testing, including environments, applications, tools and processes to be used
*Advocate the use of test automation in the Integration phase
*Work with embedded testers to continue system testing in the Integration phase/environment
*Maintain and build key relationships with existing test teams and embedded testers within FM&T

Essential requirements:
*You should be able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge, through experience and qualifications of
*Testing SOA architectures
*Testing on large technology stacks
*Working as a test manager in a matrix organisation
*Experience of managing systems integration work streams in large scale web integration projects
*Recent hands-on development experience in a mainstream programming language, e.g. Perl, PHP or Java
*Strong problem solving abilities in relation to complex problem domains, both technical and organisational


Desirable knowledge & experience
*White box knowledge of Apache, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
*DRM technologies
