CBSbutler is the preferred staffing partner to Honeywell for Shell's gas-to-liquid project in Qatar. Working to tight mobilisation timescales, CBSbutler was tasked with assembling a team of engineers to commission the process control systems - working under very challenging climatic conditions on 12-hour shifts. A key challenge was the ability to obtain work visas and resident permits for staff within the dedicated timescale.
CBSbutler established an in-country entity, and, through its contact network with local sponsors, was able to achieve all the necessary documentation so that staff were smoothly deployed to site. In addition, the firm's local customer representitave dealt with all staff issues on a 24/7 basis. Honeywell described CBSbutler's involvement in the project as integral and providing the project with complete peace of mind.
