We placed 25th in the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For!

The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For is ‘the annual ranking of the cream of Britain’s happy and motivated workforces’. In conjunction with the Best Companies survey and derived from the views of ALL employees, companies are ranked by eight key indicators of staff engagement.

At CBSbutler company culture is incredibly important to us: we believe strongly in creating a work environment that engages and empowers our staff, giving them reasons to come to work beyond the paycheck at the end of the month!

We achieve this by providing our staff with fantastic support, incentives to succeed and an environment in which they can feel confident and challenged to be the very best they can be. Our managers receive extensive training to help them support their teams, establishing clear goals, targets and progression plans to let our consultants take ownership of their own success.

We encourage and support our staff in all their charitable endeavours, and are always happy to see the generosity and enthusiasm with which the whole CBSbutler family pitches in to raise money for a plethora of good causes. We also sponsor and support TeenTech and the Festival of Science, both non-profit organisations which work to inspire and encourage children into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) careers and fields of study.

Well-being and a good work-life balance are important to CBSbutler. Based as we are out in the leafy ‘burbs, our staff enjoy a leisurely commute into work and spend the day surrounded by the beautiful rolling fields of Surrey. Our offices offer a number of amenities, from the kitchens to the on-site gym, and there’s even fresh fruit delivered every Monday! Celebration of excellent performance and fun are vital, and we hold a variety of luxury and team-building events through the year – this excellent win has secured us a fantastic company night out in London in celebration.

“I’m delighted by this accolade and it is a great testament to our desire to create a great work environment for everyone.
This has become a very competitive event and as such I think we all deserve a huge amount of recognition, particularly as we’ve raised our ranking, from 37th place in 2012, to an amazing 25th.  It also gives us something special to celebrate on the upcoming big night out.

Once again, I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the online questionnaire – this is a real accolade and credible evidence of our drive to become an employer of choice.”
– David Leyshon, Chairman

We are overjoyed about our rank as the 25th Best Small Company to Work For in the UK, and would like to thank everyone involved in getting us there – here’s to another fantastic year ahead!
