It's CBSLive at CBSbutler!

The personal and professional development of our staff has long been a primary focus here at CBSbutler, and this Wednesday we’ve got an entire day dedicated to just that.

While our staff receive frequent and on-going training and development workshops, coupled with close working relationships with team leaders and managers, designed to foster growth and progression, this Wednesday we’re trying something a little different: an entire, concentrated Development Day – complete with its own theme, naturally: it’s a Festival! There’ll be flowers in the girls’ hair – and maybe the boys’, too – and given the incredible weather this week, we’ll probably be seeing lots of shorts!

The CBSbutler Sales Festival will run within the normal working day, of course, and consist of a number of sessions involving a variety of activities designed to encourage and develop proactivity and highlight the value of high levels of energy in the office. The sessions will run from 9:00-10:30, 10:45-12:00, and 14:00-16:00, with a paper aeroplane game to play between sessions in the morning, and a surprise game to be unveiled during the lunch break.

Throughout the day, consultants and resourcers will accumulate points for completing activities such as qualifying candidates, booking interviews and completing referrals. Starting in ‘The Field’, they will aim to amass enough points to make it onto the ‘Pyramid Stage’ (50 points), and then the ‘Main Stage’ (120 points).

Depending on where they stand by the end of the day, there will be all sorts of prizes on offer, including miniature trophies, bottles of wine, glow sticks and more. To top it all off, the highest scorer will land themselves a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne to take home.

CBSbutler are working with professional development trainer David Curtis, who works with staff of all levels, from trainee resourcers to management, to improve the overall performance of the business.

"The aim of this event is to embed the development that has taken place over the last couple of weeks and maintain high levels of performance across the sales floor as well as within management. More to come!"

Let the games begin!
