Our CRASH Christmas Jumper Day was a great success!
Last Friday the CBSbutler offices were even brighter and more cheerful than usual with the Christmas jumpers of our staff lending a little extra colour to the place.
Friday 18th was CRASH’s Christmas Jumper Day, and people across the country got involved by wearing their loudest, most fun Christmas-themed jumpers and making a donation to CRASH’s fund for the homeless.
CRASH, whose slogan is ‘creating places that care for people’, is the construction and property industry’s charity for homeless people, which focuses primarily on improving the buildings used by the homeless, by providing pro-bono expert advice, free building materials and by awarding cash grants.
Our staff rallied to the cause, digging out their craziest jumpers and pairing them with a big ol’ smile, as you might have seen in our post on Friday.
Our donations totalled a respectable £417.50 (inc. GiftAid), which was then doubled by our generous directors, who promised to match whatever we raised.
We’re proud to say that we’ve now totted up all the donations and CBSbutler's contribution to the CRASH Christmas fund is a whopping £835.
A massive thank you to our (as always!) very charitable staff, and to CRASH for their efforts in making sure the homeless are a little warmer this Christmas.
Be sure to keep an eye on CRASH’s website for the date of next year’s event and get involved!
