Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Experience with New Product Introduction responsibilities desirable.

  • Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100 and ISO14001 standards also desirable

  • Trained Auditor to ISO9000

  • Quality representative in the New Product Introduction (NPI) design and development and Engineering Change Order processes.

  • Ensure that the quality requirements are defined, documented and implemented as defined by the NPI and Engineering Change Order process.

  • Proficient at interpreting Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Drawings.

  • Ensure that critical to quality items are defined, documented and controlled.

  • Provide Quality Plans, Control Plans and input into product verification and validation plans. When required APQP, input into DFMEA and PFMEA

As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) you will be responsible for supporting the Design Lead in producing the end to end design and engineering of the SOM Automation. This role will be responsible for creating repeatable, automated functions and tasks for internal SOM activities as well as external Service Groups (applications & infrastructure). This includes working closely with the SOM Environment team to automate Infrastructure, OS and Application provision. It also involves automating repetitive operational tasks, incident resolution and problem resolution to minimise operational costs and improve consistency and quality

This role will be responsible for extending product evaluation criteria with Automation specific criteria, work with selected vendors in evaluating a select set of candidate products, documenting evaluation results and developing recommendations.

Skills:

Five to ten years' experience in automation

Five years' experience in Cloud Technologies

Experience with VMware

Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating

Working knowledge of networks, network devices and configurations

Proven experience in using automation tools

Recent hands on experience in Infrastructure Design (hosting, storage, network, PaaS/IaaS)
