We are looking for a Linux Design Engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will become an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly. Automation is an essential principle the Linux Engineer will use for minimising standard work, so the team can continue engineering the high performance, scalable solutions that power the business. Cutting edge technologies are a mainstay for supporting the dynamic environment. The role will also require the development of Linux design work, specifically Low level designs (LLDs) based on the Architecture focused High Level Designs (HLDs).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Working knowledge of Unix/Linux/Solaris operating systems and hardware.
* Design and implementation of NSSR solutions, including LLD and HLDs
* Demonstrable experience of Veritas Cluster Server - setup and operation
* Knowledge of Storage Area Networks servers.
* Knowledge of programming language concepts.

Field Service Engineer

A new, exciting role for a Field Service Engineer is now available with one of the largest manufacturer and provider of sterilisation and decontamination validation services in the UK.

The successful Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the routine servicing and testing of autoclaves, washer/disinfectors and endoscope washers, with a particular emphasis on the endoscopy equipment. This will involve regular travel to a diverse range of customer sites including pharmaceutical and medical clients as well as other process industries.

The successful Field Service Engineer will be responsible for covering south of the Thames, down to the South Coast.

What's required to apply for the role of Sterilisation Field Service Engineer?

  • Prior experience servicing and testing either autoclaves, washer/disinfectors or endoscope washers (desirable)
  • Strong electrical skills (essential)
  • STM 2 & 3 qualifications (HTM 2010) (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Happy to travel as part of a field based role (essential)
