Your main task will be support the companies' delivery of its products in a regulated environment. You will work closely with other regulatory affairs colleagues in both the UK and Europe and liaise with various regulatory authorities. This is a high impact role, which will require the successful person to be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Provide guidance on product regulation and translate into meaningful business requirements

  • Gain market access for our regulated products including submissions

  • Communicate with regional and business teams and prepare responses on governing agency actions

Your main responsibility will be to manage, mentor and coach the Quality Engineers and technicians as well as devolving and maintaining the companies Quality Management System. You will also need to liaise with all parts of the business so a flexible attitude to communication is a must.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Engineering or an equivalent level of qualification in a technical discipline, to level 4 or above.

  • Leadership experience in a quality function within Automotive, Aerospace & Engineering.

  • Excellent capability with Kaizen/LEAN/Six Sigma problem resolution techniques

  • Excellent understanding of development techniques for parts and processes e.g.: Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA)

  • Understanding of MRP / Manufacturing Systems and QM Modules and/or willingness to undertake specific training and development in this area.

  • Experience of PPAP/8D Methodologies/ISO9001/APQP/Inspection/Auditing and Customer Complaints

A market leading electronics company operating across a range of highly regulated industries are looking for a Quality Inspector to work within a busy Quality department.

The successful candidate will be required to inspect/audit manufactured products against both company and customer specifications. The role also requires the candidate to assemble and wire electronic control cubicles systems and sub-assemblies to drawings, wiring schedules and circuit diagrams.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspecting, auditing of manufactured product to company and /or customer standards and reporting results.

  • Carry out patrol inspections.

  • Ensure all relevant IFS transactions are completed prior to release of equipment.

  • To formally retain and retrieve Contract, Test & Inspection records as necessary.

  • To advise and assist manufacturing and engineering departments on company standards.

  • Supporting other inspection sections as necessary, e.g. Goods Inwards and Sensors
