This Role will require the candidates to go through Developed Vetting. You need to be a sole British National.

These 2nd Line Network Support roles will require you to investigate and resolve issues that are raised and escalated from the 1st Line Team and you will also look to resolve 3rd Line issues as well. These incidents will cover both infrastructure and application issues which require investigation and resolution or escalation to 2nd or 3rd tier support.
You will sit directly with the 3rd Line Team and have lots of exposure to resolving 3rd Lines issues. Lots of opportunities to learn and develop your skills and to progress well within your role.
You will also be asked to support other supporting activities including:
Executing assigned technical maintenance activities
Providing technical input into resolver groups
Providing technical input into service management reports
Providing technical input into service capacity management
* Understanding of ITIL system management
* Windows Server 2008 platforms
* Microsoft Group Policies
* VMware ESX and vCentre
* Base understanding of SCOM
* Base understanding of SCCM
* Anti-Virus management and reporting
