Shifts: 7-7 - 4 days on, 4 days off. then 4 nights on 4 days off
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Clearance: SC clearance is ideal but not essential - you will be required to go through clearance
Role: 2nd Tier Support Engineer / 2nd Line Support Engineer
Experience in supporting secure IT infrastructures
Experience in incident resolution and/or system management of secure IT infrastructures
Base understanding of Systems Centre Operations Manage 2019
Base understanding of Systems Centre Configuration Manager Version 1910
Good understanding of VMware ESX and vCentre
Anti-Virus management and reporting
You will have experience with Event Management: You will need to Monitor Notifications and Events generated by automated systems and manage them
You will be doing Incident Management: This will include Incident logging, triage and assignment on both the CA Service Desk (CASD) and SharePoint. You will need to manage the Incident to resolution in conjunction with the 3rd parties, keeping the Service Desk record in both Toolsets updated in accordance with agreed Work Instruction.
You will need experience with Problem Management: You'll be monitoring problems in accordance with agreed SLA's - as well as managing and resolving them.
You will need experiene with Patch Deployment: You'll be using the Microsoft SCCM toolset for deployment of monthly security patches to Microsoft server environments
You will need experience with Change Management: You will be supporting as and when you are needed in all Change Management Activities
Request Fulfilment: You will receive and fulfil simple Service Requests to provision end-user access to the hosting environment.
