3rd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a global IT defence organisation. They are looking for a Third Line support engineer with experience of IT support, incident resolution and / or system management of secure IT solutions, IT infrastructures, application hosting and maintenance.

Permanent

£30,000 - £40,000 + 10% DV bonus

Based in Bracknell

*Must have active SC Clearance* (May accept candidates who have recently held clearance)

Your role will involve direct technical support for all of services to maintain a high level of support across multiple BAU activities and perform system configuration changes, upgrades and liaise with third parties and other internal teams.

Your experience
* Experience working in a 3rd Line support role
* Lead, coach and mentor CRFCA account FJ Support Team members
* Work with other team members to reduce risks and improve service
* Automate manual tasks
* Technically Impact Change Requests on System Centre Service Manager
* Review the HLD, LLD documents for a new project
* Escalation Point for OS and Hardware
* Server, Workstation & Network
* Email (SMTP and Filtering)
* Active Directory & Group Policy
* Hyper V Host Cluster/ Guest VMs
* HPE Blade Chassis, Blade Servers and Rack Servers
* Veritas NetBackup & HP Tape Libraries
* McAfee Security Products
* Microsoft System Centre (SCOM, SCCM, SCSM, SCVM) &
* NetBackup Ops Centre
* Security Hardening of IT Estate:
* Firmware and OS Maintenance, including Microsoft & 3rd Party App Patching
