Job title: 3rd Line Support Network Engineer

Contract: 6 months+

Location: Hampshire

Rate: £500 per day inside ir35

DV security clearance is required for this role

Your Role

I am looking for an experienced 3rd Line Network Engineer for a client of mine who are a leading IT Systems Integrator operating within the UK defence sector with knowledge of Virtualised and traditional network solutions to join a small team on a secure customer site. You will play an integral part of a 3rd line team and your role will involve providing support across multi-site domains using the latest technologies within a secure environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed, can-do individual to be involved from the build of the system to supporting it when live.

Your experience

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

3rd line support of:

• Cisco Firepower
• Juniper switches
• Virtualised Networks (VMWare NSXT)
• Network performance monitoring and analysis
• Knowledge of Storage and Backup Technologies would be advantageous
