My client who specialises in supplying the automotive and agriculture sectors with innovative electronic safety equipment are looking for an Applications Engineer to get involved in their New Product development projects.

You will be the middleman from the customer to the Engineers ensuring that you understand the customer specifications and requirements. Then you will relay this information back to the Engineers and ensure the quality of product is delivered to the customer.

This is a customer facing role but does need a technical brain as you will be providing technical support and troubleshooting to customers. You will be preparing technical documentation include CAD drawings, system schematics and specifications. Good relationship skills are a must in this role as you will be coordinating suppliers and contractors for bespoke products and applications.

Skills/Experience - Applications Engineer - Kent

• Automotive or Rail background
• Strong communication skills
• Good technical knowledge previous experience in design and product development
• Technical and computer applications skills
• Electronic product experience
