Apprentice Support Worker

If you have your qualification in Health and Social care, then this could be the Support Worker role that will give you the additional practical care. Working with our clients in their stunning countryside residential care home, featuring state of the art therapeutic equipment and medical support, you will ensure the safeguarding and well-being of its residents is achieved every single day:
+ Provide direct care provision for all aspects if individual needs, including personal care and the administration of medication
+ Follow all care plans, policies and procedures
+ Assist with mobility needs
+ Accompany residents on outings such as trips to the seaside, cinema, cafe, swimming and arts and crafts clubs
+ Ensure individuals receive a well balanced diet
+ Communicate and convey relevant information about residents to team members
_ Be aware of steps to take in safeguarding Adults and Risk Policies
+ Follow appropriate measures of manual handling
+ Attend 1-1 supervision with your manager
+ Ensure you are always fully up to date with residents care plans and risk assessments
