Assembly Technician
Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
Initial 6 month contract - 37 hours per week
£16.60 per hour (PAYE) / £22.30 per hour (Umbrella) + Overtime x1.5
An industry leader in the automotive sector is looking for an Assembly Technician to join their busy team based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly of low volume, high value driveline systems for a variety of customers.
- Working as part of a team to achieve team objectives.
- Primarily based at their Midland Centre, this role could involve occasional travel to other company sites or customer locations (including overseas) for short-medium periods and sometimes at short notice.
Experience/Skills required:
- Experience in the assembly of complex, high precision mechanical, hydraulic and / or electrical systems.
- Powertrain / transmission build knowledge/experience.
- Precision measurement from first principles using manual measurement equipment.
- Ability to read engineering design and assembly drawings.
- Good communication skills with ability to talk to customers and sensitivity to commercial factors.
