£500 - £580 per day DOE

Job Description

We are searching for an enthusiastic Software Quality Assurance Engineer/Automation Test Engineer to join our reputable company. You will be joining a tight-knit team who work in an Agile environment so you will be heavily involved in the stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospective meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to collaborate with other professionals to ensure appropriate test coverage.

• Conducting quality assurance to ensure that the software meets prescribed guidelines

• Create a practical & proportional approach to test design.

• Plan and conduct user acceptance testing with key stakeholders including product owners.

• Develop test scenarios, cases, and scripts for multiple applications and software.

• Undertake manual testing, ensuring that defects are detected, documented and resolved before release

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience using a wide variety of coding languages.

• Experience working in an agile environment or of software verification/validation experience.

• Knowledge and experience of testing cloud-hosted back-end systems using mainstream tools.

• Great analytical skills and the QA/Test mind-set to ask the right questions.

• Familiarity of test automation frameworks and writing code.

• Ability to identify research and implement effective testing techniques and tools.
