Technically astute competent with Azure public cloud administration and infrastructure deployment. Team player with a solid understanding of cloud administration and deployment of cloud services (predominately PaaS).
Comfortable reviewing and digesting Terraform/PowerShell scripts and similar IaC artifacts.
Work as part of a multi-skilled team to assist the customer to overcome some immediate issues with cloud deployments. A strong communicator and a self-starter capable of context switching between activities based on urgency and/or demand. Must have an understanding of DevOps principles/modern cloud work flows (pipelines etc).
Onboarding of technical resources of a high enough level to understand, deploy, integrate, and support Azure PaaS resources in the clients production environment, in support of moving applications to the cloud.
Required:
*Manual and script-based changes to existing Azure PaaS resources as directed by Architecture teams
*Resource object configuration change analysis (i.e. will the change have a negative impact)
*Execution of change, using existing scripts and manual processes
*Infrastructure support for in-flight application migrations, especially WAF, Azure FW, and application registration setups
*Estimated 20 minor changes per week, such as a manual or scripted resource configuration, or an application registration, running until the end of October
*Manual and script-based deployment of new Azure resources in support of moving applications to the cloud, as directed by Architecture teams
*Resource deployment, such as databases, storage accounts, and virtual servers with their appropriate network setups.
*Low level design creation in conjunction with application and architecture teams
*Self-starter with internal customer interfacing skills
*Documentation of change and runbooks
