A Bid Coordinator with a background in the Engineering industry and strong Microsoft Office skills is required to join a Global Aerospace Company to support Bid and Proposal administration.

Role: Bid Coordinator

As Bid Coordinator you will be responsible for:

+ Compile commercial, technical and management proposals, predominantly at the request of customers, to enable the business to secure Orders
+ Liaising with the Business Development Manager, Project Manager/Capture Manager and Engineering Lead to establish detailed customer requirements
+ Allocating bid numbers, completing bids databases and opening the appropriate folders on the network to ensure bid can be tracked and followed up
+ Scheduling and co-ordinating the bid activity throughout the organisation
+ Refine formatting & presentation of proposal documentation
+ Coordinating and managing cost estimate
+ Conduct final editing and formatting of documentation in accordance with the brand guidance to produce consistent high quality proposals

Experience:

As Bid Coordinator you will have experience of:

+ Strong experience of Bid and Proposal Coordination within an engineering organisation
+ Fluent in Microsoft office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Excellent written communication skills; experience of communicating with customers in a formal manor
+ Advanced user of Microsoft Word; familiar with detailed levels of editing and formatting
+ Understanding and experience of estimating process and pricing methods
