UK Bids Manager - Defence

Our highly reputable client based in Surrey are market leaders within the Defence industry and they're looking to hire a Bids Manager to take ownership of their most important and complex tenders.

Your duties:

  • Leading all aspects of the planning and execution of the full bid lifecycle

  • Managing the bid development in a timely and efficient manner, schedules and oversees key reviews

  • Define, tailor and implement a suitable Bid process to fit the opportunity

  • Interacting with bid stakeholders at all appropriate levels across multiple organisations and keeps the Business Leadership Team informed and engaged, including timely escalation of issues needing resolution

Skills & Experience:

  • A track record of delivering successful bids

  • Previously worked in a complex, multidisciplinary, multisite organisation

  • An understanding of electrical systems and system integration

  • Pricing experience for large and complex packages of equipment and services

  • Full tender lifecycle management, including capture, qualification and developing capture/bid plans and winning strategies

  • Summary and Proposal writing experience
