Biomedical Engineer

North West London

A leading, reputable provider of medical engineering services is seeking a site-based Biomedical Engineer based at a busy North London NHS Hospital.

The company supply their services to a vast range of clients such as the NHS, Emergency and Rescue and the private healthcare sector. Job outline:

As an EBME Engineer you would be required to carry out service, maintenance, repair and fault finding on a range of low to high risk medical equipment such as anaesthesia machines, ventilators, infusion devices, syringe drivers, defibrillators, ECG's, patient monitors, pulse oximeters etc. In-house and OEM training can be provided where required.

Other key accountabilities will include:

  • Ensure service reports are completed in accordance with Quality Processes

  • Liaise with the customer regarding scheduled corrective repairs.

  • Ensure customers receive the highest quality support for contracted services on site.

  • Provide on-site technical solutions in support of contracted services

  • Liaise with Service Desk to ensure service delivery meets the KPI's.

  • Maintain effective quality systems to comply with ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485

  • Providing customer service support to the Team Leader

Experience/skills required:

  • Experience repairing low, medium or high risk medical devices. E.g. any of the following infusion devices, syringe drivers, defibrillators, ECG's, patient monitors, pulse oximeters, diathermy etc.

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Commutable to North West London
