Our client provides cost effective solutions to contractors and consultants within the building services industry. They are a medium sized company who have long term contracts with local authorities, schools, offices and banks. They are now seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join there successful team.
Our client has been looking for a Business Development Manager to cover Central London and neighbouring home counties. The Business Development Manager will have a wealth of experience selling to mechanical and electrical contractors and consultants. Technical sales would be essential as this role requires someone that can both hit the ground running and bring prospective clients on straight away. The role will require the Business Development Manager to produce solutions, quoting BMS projects and service contracts including control panels, electrical install and project management.
As the Business Development Manager you will be providing building management system project solutions to mechanical and electrical contractors and consultants. Trend BMS systems are used for these contracts, any sales experience with these control panels would be a major advantage but this is not essential as training can be given as long as you have a technical sales background. The Business Development Manager will start with a negotiable target for the first year depending on the potential of your cliental.
Commission is negotiable but typically paid quarterly. For this role commission will be based on gross margin profit and also you will be given a percentage of overachieved figures.
To be considered for this role the Business Development Manager must have a proven background of selling to mechanical and electrical contractors and consultants. Ideally the Business Development Manager will be based West of London flexible in terms of working from home and reporting to the office. Technical sales are essential as the Business Development Manager will need to hit the ground running.
