Our client, a leading defence organisation who specialise in protection systems are currently recruiting for a Buyer on an interim basis to support with winning new business and delivering on Bids and Projects.

Your duties

• Support the sales team in order to win new business

• Manage procurement dependencies

• Produce Bid & Project procurement strategies

• Work with the Category Buyers to plan materials requirements

• Manage and Create material budgets for the Bids & Projects

Experience / Skills required

• CIPS or Studying for CIPS preferred

• Strong negotiation skills

• Implementation & Planning skills

• Able to obtain SC level security clearance
