Our client, a leading Defence organisation who specialise in protection solutions are currently recruiting for a Buyer. Within this position you'll be responsible for cost, time and quality of services and goods for multi-million programmes.

Your duties - Buyer

Manage Project budgets
Create Bill of Materials
Main point of contact for managing procurement dependencies
Management of key suppliers and Subcontracts
Support in winning new business
Adhoc duties as and when required

Experience / Skills required - Buyer

CIPS or working towards CIPS certification
Strong negotiation skills
Able to understand technical drawings
Understanding of Bids and proposals
Proficient in cost estimating
Able to obtain SC level security clearance
