Job Title: Cloud Architect

Location: Hampshire (Hybrid working available)

Rate: £700 per day inside ir35

Contract: 6 months+

Security Clearence at SC level is required for this role

I am recruiting a Cloud Architect for a client of mine who are an IT systems integrator operating within the UK defence sector. This role requires an experienced Lead architect to take on the design and implementation of the migration processes and approaches from traditional infrastructures to Cloud platforms. Primarily Azure but also AWS, VMware and Oracle. The successful candidate will work with the wider secure cloud team and be responsible for all aspects of the Azure Stack Hub (ASH) elements of the offering portfolio.

Mandatory skills/experience:

Extensive experience of working within a public sector secure environment

Proven track record in the planning, deployment, packaging, updating, and maintaining Azure Stack Hub infrastructures.

Azure experience to include at least some of the following :

Azure IaaS including storage; Azure SQL; Azure Serverless computing; Azure ACR; Azure Security (NSG,ASG Sentinel, Security Centre, Defender, ACL, Azure Firewall, Policy); Azure AD including on premises Active Directory

Experience of Traditional IT infrastructures

Fluent in PowerShell scripting/automation

Juniper networking
