Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Vacancy Type: Contract - Outside IR35

Location: Remote with Occasional Travel to Surrey

Rate: £40 to £50 per hour depending on experience

Out client, a market leader within the Defence industry are currently looking for a Electrical Design Engineer in order to lead a works package to design electrical based hardware

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design work package

• Create, modify, maintain and manage electrical designs

• Create, review and sign off any technical documentation

• Analise and provide justification of electrical based designs and component selection

• Provide clear guidance for other Electrical Design Engineers in order to support project delivery

Technical Skills / Qualifications / Experience

• 5+ years as an Electrical Engineer

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

• Able to lead on the creation and management of electrical schematics

• Understanding of EMC requirements and application into design
