Contract Mechanical Design Engineer

Remote with Occasional travel to Surrey

Outside IR35 - £40 to £50 per hour depending on experience

Our client is a market leader within the defence industry and they currently have a requirement for a Mechanical CAD Designer due to continued growth within the business.

Your duties:

• Lead all Design activities regarding 3D CAD Modelling

• Full Design lifecycle, from concept through to Production

• Produce drawing data packs

• Design layouts

• Produce 3D Models

• Installation drawings

• Provide plans to the Project Management teams

• Produce a parts list

Skills / Experience required

• Bachelors / Masters Degree or a HNC/HND ideally within Mechanical Engineering

• Experience with CREO / Pro Engineer (Or similar CAD Packages)

• Must have SC Clearance to start
