Control Systems Engineer - Surrey

Our client, a market leader in the design and manufacture of complex Electronic products for the Defence industry are currently recruiting for a Control Systems Engineer. You'll be responsible for the design and development of COTS PLC and SCADA based solutions that form part of a Platform Management System for a Naval Defence Programme

Your duties:

• Obtain, plan and develop customer requirements

• Design and develop COTS PLC Hardware solutions

• Produce technical documentation

• Work with other engineering disciplines such as Software, Mechanical & Electrical Design and V&V to develop and provide solutions to the products

• Liaise with external suppliers whilst maintaining a good working relationship

• Ensuring products meet the required standards and regulatory requirements

• Integrate "Off the shelf" electronic / electrical equipment

• Ad hoc duties as and when required

Skills required:

• Degree qualified

• Highly experienced Design Engineer

• Design and integration experience of complex electronic / electrical systems and equipment

• Experience with either COTS, PLC or SCADA control systems

• Eligible for "UK Eyes only" Security Clearance
