As a Customer Quality and Reliability Direct you will provide leadership to drive Customer-Focused Quality improvement throughout Product Life Cycle.

You will support Design and Development, Manufacture, Design Assurance, Reliability, Product Safety, Quality systems and business process improvement initiative.

Develop, establish and maintain quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures, and controls ensuring that performance and quality of products conform to established standards, Customer Requirements and agency guidelines.

Provide guidance in interpreting governmental regulations, agency guidelines and internal policies to ensure compliance.

Role and Responsibilities:

+Deliver leadership for Customer-Focused Quality improvements, Design Assurance, Reliability, Product Safety, Quality Systems and business process improvement initiatives.

Prime the Quality Management interface and messaging on Customer matters relating to Product Quality Compliance and Reporting.

Engaging and responsible for interfacing with regional customers for key quality issues, supporting RMA issue resolution.

Review Key Customer Requirements / Contracts and ensure they are suitably addressed and managed by internal procedures or managed back to the Customer.

Implement and maintain RMA processes, driving improvement programs and detailed reporting of Product Quality Performance.

Interface, Support and work any Project based work on initiatives delivering improved product and process initiatives as necessary.

Work closely with SCM, Product, Design Engineers, Product Managers and other Internal and External contacts to ensure Key Quality Issues are contained, Corrected and Prevented

Ensures all quality and reliability activities comply with all relevant regulations and legal demands, as well as company policies and directives

Provide leadership, direction, mentoring, technical training, support, and constructive feedback to both direct and indirect reports.

Skills and Experience:

+ Degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience

+ Experience of Quality Management with technical skills in an electronics / optoelectronics field

+ Broad technical skills and understanding of Materials, Electronics, FW/SW, PCBA, Optics

+ Product Reliability Awareness / Design Assurance: Knowledge of process and material to assure product reliability.

+ QC tools awareness, 8D report methodology, SPC, Gauge R&R, Calibration, 6-Sigma, PDCA

+ Good communication with Engineering, Commercial teams and External Customers.
